DataTypes are the foundation of Simply360. They define the structure and validation rules for your data.

What is a DataType?

A DataType is like a template that defines:

• What fields exist (name, type, validation)
• How data is displayed
• Who can access the data
• Relationships to other DataTypes

Field Types

Simply360 supports many field types including:

• Text (single line, multi-line, rich text)
• Numbers (integer, decimal, currency)
• Dates and Times
• Selections (dropdown, checkbox, radio)
• Files and Images
• References to other DataTypes
