Feature Permissions
Required Permission
This feature requires the TEAM_ADMIN_USER_ROLES permission.
Feature Permissions control which administrative features and tools a user can access within Simply360.
Permission Groups
Feature Permissions are organized into groups:
Team Admin Permissions
| Permission | Grants Access To |

| Account Info | Team account settings (name, logo, timezone, languages) |
| Users | User management (invite, edit, deactivate users) |
| User Roles | Role creation and permission management |
| Data Collections | Data collection and field configuration |
| Custom Lists | Custom list (dropdown option) management |
| Data Wizards | Data Wizard creation and configuration |
| SimplyTags | NFC tag and QR code management |
| Dashboard Cards | Custom dashboard card configuration |
Integration Permissions

Data Permissions

| Data Record Logs | View change history for data records |
| Data Full Access | Override collection-level restrictions (use with caution) |
Outgoing Messages Permissions

| View Own Emails | See emails sent by the user |
| Send Emails | Send email messages |
| View Own SMS | See SMS messages sent by the user |
| Send SMS | Send SMS messages |
| View Others' Messages | See messages sent by other team members |
| Message Templates | Create and manage message templates |
| Approval Workflows | Approve pending messages |
Assigning Feature Permissions
- Navigate to Admin → User Roles
- Click on a role to edit it
- Find the Feature Permissions section
- Select the permissions to grant
- For each permission, choose:
- View Only - Can see but not modify
- Edit - Can view and modify
- Save your changes
Security Note
Be careful when granting User Roles permission - users with this permission can potentially escalate their own privileges by modifying their role.
